The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
